Confectioner — Kiru

Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Kiru, Kano State. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics The role involves monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls.
