Head baker — Milam County

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Milam County, Texas. You will be based at a cake shop. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
