Die-casting operator wanted in McDuffie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in McDuffie County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
