Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings.
