Bulldozer operator wanted in Modoc County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Modoc County, California. The job is in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Full-time with occasional weekends.
