Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Richland County, Illinois. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Part-time with flexible hours.
