Immediate opening: TIG welder (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Harrison County, Missouri. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
