Join our team: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Fulton County, Illinois. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. On a typical shift you will knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. Requirements: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
