Die-casting operator — Stanislaus County

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Stanislaus County, California. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
