Sample machinist — Frontier County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Frontier County, Nebraska. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Part-time with flexible hours. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
