Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Dare County

Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Dare County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy construction site. You will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
