Foundry operative — Pulaski County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry operative in Pulaski County, Indiana. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time, day shift.
