Wheel loader operator • Elk County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Elk County, Kansas. Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
