Formwork carpenter • Yates County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Yates County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
