Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Shasta County, California. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
