Steward — Albemarle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steward in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard. You should have: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
