The role involves: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing What we are looking for: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
