Formwork erector — Suffolk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
