Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Massac County, Illinois. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
