Press shop operator — Wabaunsee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
