Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolder in Douglas County, Illinois. You will be based at a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Your main tasks: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
