Steam press operator • Etung, Cross River State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Etung, Cross River State. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
