Foundry worker — Madison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Madison County, Indiana. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Six days a week, one day off. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
