We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Renville County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
