Press machine operator — Chickasaw County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Chickasaw County, Iowa. The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
