Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Langtang North, Plateau State. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On a typical shift you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
