Crane rigger wanted in Saint Clair County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
