Earthmoving plant operator — Wilson County

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Wilson County, North Carolina. You will work in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Six days a week, one day off.
