Bricklayer — San Patricio County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in San Patricio County, Texas. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
