Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Okehi, Kogi State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day to day you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
