Rough terrain crane operator • Arlington County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Arlington County, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
