Urgent requirement: structural MIG welder (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Hyde County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
