Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Wayne County, Michigan. The job is in a residential tower block. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Overtime paid at a premium rate.
