Immediate opening: backhoe loader operator (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Obudu, Cross River State. You will be based in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise You will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals.
