Glazing assistant — Portage County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Portage County, Ohio. You will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; replace cracked or broken window panes; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
