Beldar — Yusufari

Now hiring: we are hiring a beldar in Yusufari, Yobe State. You will be based with a civil contractor. Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦8,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
