Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Maui County, Hawaii. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
