Ceiling and wall plasterer — Piatt County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
