Tile setter — Gates County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in Gates County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy tiling site. The role involves: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
