Site safety steward — Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Union County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
