Brick mason — Newton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Newton County, Georgia. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
