Immediate opening: JCB operator (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Kura, Kano State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. ₦12,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
