Bench joiner • Clarke County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Clarke County, Iowa. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
