Cold room technician • Dukes County, Massachusetts

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Dukes County, Massachusetts. Day to day you will fault-find control boards and defrost timers; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter. Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
