Safety inspector — Ughelli North

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Ughelli North, Delta State. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
