Dough maker — Trinity County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dough maker in Trinity County, California. On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
