Day to day you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
