VMC operator • Waldo County, Maine

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Waldo County, Maine. You will be based at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Part-time with flexible hours.
