Natural gas fitter — Chippewa County

Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 1+ years on the tools preferred.
