Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder.
